At the J.W. Westcott we understand obtaining what you need while aboard a vessel is difficult and it is our goal to make maritime life easier. We provide shore to ship deliveries of mail, crew, sundries and any type of equipment you need aboard a ship.
Crew Exchanges
Our river station is located just 20 minutes away from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) and we specialize in mid-river crew exchanges. Shuttles to and from the airport can be scheduled to make sure you arrive to your vessel or flight on time. Most shipping companies will reimburse the transfer fee as a travel expense. If you have any question please give us a call.

As a contract carrier for U.S.P.S. any items shipped through the postal service can be delivered free of charge. Items shipped VIA U.P.S., FedEx, DHL etc. will be assessed a collect on delivery fee. Our fee schedule is: $10 for items under 20#, $20 for items 21-40#, $30+ for 41#+.
Agents
The J.W. Westcott is able to help you facilitate your vessel’s passage through the Port of Detroit. With our fleet we are able to:
attach and detach inspectors or crew members
provide grocery services through our local vendors
deliver much needed mechanical parts, freight or correspondence.

Can’t get off the boat? We can get it for you!
We provide pick-up and delivery of basic necessities such as drug store goods, over the counter medications, snacks, coffee, tobacco, pizza etc. If you are interested in placing an order please call us a head of time so we are able to acquire whatever you need!
Taste Detroit
Looking for a hot slice or thai? The city of Detroit offers a wide range of restaurants and hidden gems that we can deliver right to your vessel! Just like packages and sundries, if you would like to have something delivered you may use our address with any of the hottest food delivery apps. With an few hours notice we can arrange orders for you. Our delivery cost is $2.50 per item with a $10 minimum per order.
Door Dash and Other Services
The J. W. Westcott is fully equipped to handle any items you require from delivery services for a nominal delivery fee. Please have your name, phone number and vessel name attached to the delivery. If possible, phone us ahead of time so we may prepare boxes, refrigerator space or whatever you require to keep your order fresh!
